About

Welcome to Revitaliz! I am Liz, and I am so glad you are here.

Fitness and mental health have always played a significant role in my life.  Creating a space where people can visit to improve both aspects of their life is something that is very important to me. I am a mom with two children, and I have been married to my husband for almost 15 years. Fitness, nutrition, and keeping my mental health in check has always been a part of my story, and quite honestly was what kept me afloat during the early years of parenting.

Being someone who works in the fitness industry as well as having a master’s in psychology and jointly working as a counselor, I have developed an understanding of physical and mentalhealth which allows me to look at the whole person, and not just one aspect.

My entire philosophy is about achieving balance.

Without balance, we are in a constant state of trying to solve one piece of the puzzle instead of the whole pie.

We work out at the gym tirelessly for hours trying to lose weight or get our muscles stronger, but then we over-eat or under-eat and lose all effectiveness of what we just did at the gym. Or we drink too much which leaves our mental health in poor condition, so we overcompensate at the gym. Or we become so stressed in our work or professional life, that we don’t eat properly, or don’t work out, and become even more stressed because of poor nutrition or lack of exercise.

In essence, I find most of my clients end up on a hamster wheel trying to maintain any kind of authentic balance in their life. My goal is to bring awareness to this and guide my clients with tools to help them maintain their long-term goals. I want your time with me to be about educating yourself on how to achieve sustainable health, nutrition, and mental health goals. I want you to leave your time with me with a plan that is maintainable long term which will allow you to have all three aligned at any time.

What is your ‘why’?

When we decide what it is that truly matters to us and why it matters, it becomes easier to operate and be more intentional in our daily lives.

Growing up, disordered eating, mixed messages about health and body types, and lack of knowledge played a very large role in my wiring. It was only until I became pregnant with our first child, our daughter, that I realized I had to change the narrative I told myself. I had to become very clear about my own ideas of health, fitness, mental stability, and nutrition. This became my why. This became the reason for all that I do, for why I am so passionate about helping my clients, and why I strive to connect with all my clients on all levels of relating to our health.

Find your why, and the rest falls into place.
